Je ressens presque toujours un sentiment d’amour lorsque je photographie une personne. Quelque soit son sexe, son âge, son physique ou sa condition sociale.
Quel que soit le résultat final, le portrait est pour moi réussi quand le regard est juste. Quand l’humain est digne et serein. Quand l’image finale permet de retrouver l’état amoureux dont j’ai fait l’expérience lors de la prise de vue.
J’ai toujours le souhait secret que les personnes qui regardent mes images partagent ce sentiment de connexion, ce sentiment d’amour. ”

When taking someone’s photograph, I feel, almost every time, a feeling of love. Whatever their gender, age, physical build or social condition.
Regardless of the final result, for me, the portrait is a success when the gaze is well captured. When the human is dignified, serene. When the final image recreates that feeling of love I experienced during the photo shoot.
